Lily's Foolproof Super-Easy Red Cabbage


  • A red cabbage

  • 2 onions, chopped

  • An apple, chopped

  • 2 dessert spoons vinegar

  • Dessert spoon demerara sugar

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 30g butter


  1. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan. Put a lid on and cook over a low heat for about an hour.

  2. Check every so often and add a splash of water if it risk drying out or burning.
