Lily's Foolproof Super-Easy Red Cabbage
A red cabbage
2 onions, chopped
An apple, chopped
2 dessert spoons vinegar
Dessert spoon demerara sugar
2 cloves garlic
Put all the ingredients in a saucepan. Put a lid on and cook over a low heat for about an hour.
Check every so often and add a splash of water if it risk drying out or burning.
